I first matched Andre Smith with the Bengals way back in January and this appears to be one of those picks that just makes too much sense not to happen. On talent alone most feel Smith is one of the Top 3 prospects in this draft but concerns about his height, work ethic, conditioning and maturity have turned some teams off. However, the Bengals have shown time and time again that they are willing to overlook character red flags if a guy is talented enough. When it comes to need there is no question that offensive tackle sticks out like a sore thumb for Cincinnati and not only have they lost both Stacy Andrews and Willie Anderson in the last year but it looks as though Levi Jones may be shown the door soon as well. If either Jason Smith or Eugene Monroe falls into their laps the Bengals would have to consider them and there have also been rumors that they like Michael Oher but either way it looks as though this pick is going to be an offensive tackle. As a darkhorse keep an eye on B.J. Raji, who they coached during his standout performance at the Senior Bowl, and also Brian Orakpo, who would  give them the speedy pass  rusher  they currently  lack.
